This is by far the easiest, homemade, frugal On Guard foaming hand soap I have made. You don’t have to use the branded soap dispenser. It is just what I had on hand. I actually plan on using these. Much cuter in my kitchen and bathroom, they just aren’t foaming. I am still in search of the Foaming Hand soap dispenser for Mason Jars.
Why use On Guard Foaming Hand Soap?
On Guard protects against environmental and seasonal threats with essential oils known for their positive effects on the immune system.
This recipe for foaming hand wash is a wonderful, all-natural alternative to the antibacterial hand soaps that are on the market today.
• Supports healthy immune function
• Protects against environmental threats
• Cleanses surfaces
• Purifies the skin while promoting healthy
circulation
• Energizing and uplifting aroma
You can find my choice of Castile soap here

Does the oil not separate from the soap?
Sometimes the soap settles. I just give the bottle a shake and we are good to go.
What essential oil are you using?
OnGuard from DoTerra. (It’s in the title.) 🙂
I’d imagine I could use Orange or Lemon or any scented castille soap as a base then add any essential oil scents to blend?
I have used Peppermint castile soap as well, combined with On Guard. It makes my nose happy!
Not sure if you mentioned it or not but a glass dispenser should be use, the essential oil will etch a plastic bottle and then the plastic will leach into the soap. Thanks for the recipe.
I need to use fragrance and gluten free soaps and cleaners. I’m going to be switching over to this. Much easier than struggling to find gluten free cleaners in the store, since the FDA is not requiring these type of products to list gluten, since it’s not ingested, but the gluten is still absorbed through the skin.
